Certainly not for me. We have just picked up 7 points from the last 4 games against some decent sides, including two wins in a row, let's stick to what we started with against Walsall and Doncaster!

I would certainly bring in Louis Dodds because he not only adds to the frontman but helps out in midfield when the opposition have the ball. Who would I drop? Williamson because his only plus is pace which he sadly rarely uses and he never puts any pressure on their defenders when they have possession.

One thing that I am sure of is the fact that when Doddsie came on that due to his work in midfield Vale got back on top against Donny.

Agree with Old Sage's assessment. Dodds for Willo for the reasons stated.

Drop our second top scorer for someone who's scored one goal this season? Sort of says to the opposition that were scared of them, it would be a more defensive formation and play right into their hands. Williamson does put pressure on them it's one of his better attributes so I don't know what you've been watching. Williamson has pace and away from home that helps a million. But I know we will dent the lads confidence again even though we've just won the two games that he's come back for! Dodds does add an extra man in midfield but he isn't that good. He's an ok player but the way some (including you) rave about him it's as if he's ****** messi

I don't know how Notts County play and what formation they favour. That has to be considered because, as the home team, they'll have the majority of possession, probably.

If Page thinks they're slow and susceptible at the back maybe he'll stick with BW.

But if he thinks they might have an extra midfielder and we'll be outnumbered in there he might want Dodds to play, because he can play in the middle but also break forward and create something.

 

I'm happy to go with the manager's decision, although in away games I'd more often pick Dodds, while in home matches I'd probably favour BW. It's horses for courses and in my view a 14 man game in which we need to make more and better use of our 3 subs and not leave them on the bench for 80 minutes.

Difficult call. I would keep the same team as it sends out the wrong message to drop someone who did OK. Most important thing is to not concede a soft goal early on and end up chasing the game. Goal for us in the opening 10 minutes would help too.

Dodds for me, he's been good playing behind willo but will be even better playing behind Pope.

 

If we play Pope and Willo it means conceding midfield possession to Notts county and I dont think thats the way to go.

 

Its up to Page though, it would mean changing a winning side and thats a risk for him.
