The Grimsby game was 0-2 at half time Smithie, they got their third early in the second half before we scored four in a period of less than twenty minutes...

 

I actually think the QPR game was great when I now look back, only football can do that to you, you had to be there!!

I have the full programme of the Central Match Live on VHS. The first half was brilliant. I haven't watched back the full second half yet.

The most crucial comeback was Swindon's 2003/4 when we were 3 up at home only to draw 3-3, we later missed out on a play off spot through goal difference to Hartlepool and Swindon..:(

Does anyone remember Reading away around the same time? I am sure we were 3-0 down at half time and came back to 3-3 and in my mind we hit the post when it was 3-3. I'd bet Boothy £500 at half time that we'd win and he was desperate to pull out as we clawed back the lead..I let him off before it got to 3-3

 

Or maybe my memory is playing tricks on me

Yeah, Reading away was 94/95. Lee Nogan first half hat trick. Shaka Hislop ran the length of the field to celebrate the third goal.

 

The one that really annoys me still (for some reason) is the Sunderland game at home in 91/92.

Yes I remember that. Swanny scored a couple from corners I think - or at least had one cleared off the line and then scored from another. We just collapsed after that. Wasn't it 3-3 at half time as well?

I remeber that one, they started putting high balls into our box and we retreated back and elft nobody up so when we headed the ball clear they were queuing up to put it back in. We could all see it coming.
