would be fantastic but dont think it will ever happen. i remember him saying years ago he would do it if he was in charge, and as he doesnt seem that interested at the moment i wouldnt hold my breathe.

That's ok musically I'd prefer Burslem's other famous son (Lemmy and Motorhead).

How about our saviour (Sir Robert Williams OBE, DFC and bar) doing a concert at VP? I also agree with the stuff about Tommy's.

ive allways thought the robster should do a gig at vale park just think the locals dont like the noise but you could give em free tickets i spose! it would be full i think, we got 10,000 when he just played in that testimonial match!

it be great, the stage in hamil road end, the bycars, lorne st,railway and the pitch full to bosting with punters! what would it hold then....30,000 with the pitch ?

Isn't that what we already have?

The new building at the rear of the Hamil End is an indoor Gym/5 a side pitch.

didnt know that. but i was thinking on bigger scale floor to ceiling windows on to the pitch etc accross the whole stand. so knocking everything down and starting again. someone else mentioned putting tommys in the lorne street

i would hope the new board will be open to suggestions for the way forward regarding the use of club facilities and ideas regarding ticketing etc i'm sure their are some great ideas out there, maybe this could be a task for a revamped supporters club to put forward suggestions

well im up for it. what ever will take the club forward and earn revenue!

Port Vale Football Club - Sign multi-million pound player, Robbie Williams Right Winger. Give him the squad number of number 7, home fans and away fans will buy his top, give a section of the club shop to his memorable era. when we are running away with the league title by march next year, Robbie can make a appearance at Vale park scoring the winning goal.

Easy Peasy, £500,000 income.

swipe card entry system/ points or credits card

every time you use it to gain entrance it puts points onto the card after collecting enough points free entrance or use in the club shop

could also be used as season ticket, when purchased enough credit put on the card for all home games plus loyalty bonus for use in club shop or part of credit used to puchase ticket for vip lounge etc

just an idea

I was thinking of suggesting something simler earlier. When on the odd occassion I go watch Bolton Wanderers they have bar codes on tickets, norma tickets and season tickets so you can scan that on your way in.

Easy revenue........kids birthday parties on matchdays. I mentioned it to Bill Pratt 5 years ago!!! See SCFC for details!

Did he mention that maybe you should suggest it to someone else as he was thinking about stepping down?

i hope one othe first things done are the seats in the lorne street make it the new family stand party atmosphere use the childrens facilities already in that area to encourage even families with young children as caroline says encourage birthday parties etc

another good shout! like said makes you wonder why the current board havnt done any of these suggestions when they are all logical.

In my opinion the best thing to do with TC's is to completely gut the place, it's awful.

Demolish it, and start again with a more open establishment that could have multiple uses. Its a little bit too much like a 70's working mens club to be preffered to a real pub.

I think legal beagle was on here sayin they plan to completly gut the vale pub and renovate it. A it needs modernising.
