I'd be surprised if Adams came back for no cash to spend, either on transfers or salaries.

 

Methinks this 'two weeks in Turkey' is a ploy to see if he gets any better offers. Then, if he doesn't, he signs - and waits to see if any better offers come his way thereafter.

 

Meantime, V2001 have got past the EGM and survived. :(

Regardless of how much the budget is, Adams is bound to snap Vales hand off considering his failure at Sheffield.

 

If he doesnt take it he may not get another club and his career on the scrapheap.

 

For his career more than anything he needs to get in a job asap.

To return to the original theme of this thread, I now notice that the market for betting on Port Vale's next permanant manager has been withdrawn.

This often (though not always) means that the bookmakers consider it such a certainty that they will not offer any odds, not even the 1/5 they had up yesterday.

Make of this what you will, but for a very short while earlier yesteerday you could get 5/2 against MA and this would make for a prittttttttty nice little payout.

If he accepts the 3 year deal before the egm it will mean being manager under either Bratt or Mo.

 

If Mo gets in and decides that he doesnt want Micky Adams then Adams will get a 3 year payout for being in the right place at the right time and trust me, the wedge that they have offered Adams is proper stupid.

 

Adams wins money wise whatever happens

Correct and it gives Mo a predicament.

 

First of all he would have to pay Adams off if he doesnt want him and secondly if he does get rid of Adams i doubt he will be flavour of the month with the majority of Vale fans.

 

It wouldnt be a very popular move to upset the majority of fans straight away.
