Yates and Loft sign 2 year deals

We should have jogged afew players on and channelled some of their wages into keeping Owen. If Crewe can hold onto their linchpins then they are going to be up there without a doubt with Owen at the back.

Should have released Yates and used the money to offer Owen better terms. Yates is ok but replaceable, Owen is much more difficult to replace.

That's what I fear. Bratt will see Collins as a replacement for Owen and Kris Taylor as the new first team LB. Rather than building on this team it is likely to be a case of damage limitation.

Gareth Owen was only prolific under Adams. Granted he's a huge loss and seeing him go to crewe makes me as sick as everyone but he is replaceable but I do think its daft signing yates and loft in the current situation but isn't kris Taylor also out of contract? I like him when he's with Rob they play well together I'd make sure kris is here next season
