It will be interesting if he does go there when his team comes up against Liverpool and Suarez potentially dives to win a penalty or have a man sent off to see his reaction to his fellow country man as he has defended him to the hilt over pretty much everything so far.

Indeed, I don't think he's a bad manager. From his interviews he comes over as a pretty articulate bloke compared to some managers and footballers. Although how anyone can defend Suarez's actions is beyond me!

Yet what he did at Brighton in the end was also pretty stupid?

 

Sunderland as a club just can't seem to get it quite right. Fanbase wise they have the potential to be top 10 in the Prem/maybe sneak in the Europa League(when you consider teams like Fulham, West Brom and a few others have done it in the past).

Will be interesting to see how he does!

He's certainly got a massive task on his hands. I think the board and the fans think they are better than they are.

 

Di Canio has turned over a heck of a lot of players and been allowed to do so and shipped out some key names, now Poyet has to take over these players.

 

For me he is a slightly calmer version of Di Canio (who could have been crazier!) but I don't think he's the right choice.....
