xbox one or ps4???

"I had a PS2 back in the day." I hate to admit this, but back in my day I had a Commodore 64 and Spectrum ZX, both terribly slow at loading up games. One year I started to load Double Dragon at 10am on Christmas Day and started playing it at 2pm on Boxing Day. Still, it was acceptable in the 80's. You left your doors and windows open without fear and headed to the seaside fuelled by boiled sweets in a tin and a feverish excitement that you were departing Stoke. I play Call of Duty a few times a week, it's called the school run and preparing dinner.

I had a PS2 back in the day and then switched to the Xbox 360 when it came out because of it's superior online.

I have now gone back to Playstation with the PS3 and may get the PS4 sometime next year.

It all depends on what you want. If you want to spend a lot of time talking with your friends then go for the Xbox, but if you prefer a more 'casual' experience then go with the PS4.

I personally prefer the Playstation exclusives; Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Gran Turismo and The Last of Us. (BTW, The Last of Us is brilliant, get it now)

Totally agree about The Last of Us. Amazing game. Just finished it. Probably the best story line in any game I've played.

GTA V all the way now though.

I had a Spectrum. Christmas present. 1987.

Double Dragon wasn't a particularly good conversion of the arcade game. Target: Renegade was better. It was playable enough though, I did a tape to tape on my sister's hifi. Old school software piracy ruled.

i have an xbox 360 atm, but my ps3 was much better imo.

too many problems with the xbox360 for me

I've always been Xbox but the fact you can get the ring of death and it just breaks is mental. In fact, I'd go as far as unacceptable- that will need sorting now the consoles are going to be so much more expensive.

Which one of them is that won't let you play the previous consoles games on the new one? I think it's PS but I'm not sure. That's a dirty trick in my opinion too, like apple changing the leads on the iPhone 5. It's purely designed to rinse more money out of the consumer; by all means bring in the new technology but I don't like the idea of previous purchases becoming obsolete when they don't have to be

I believe Xbox will not play games which have been used in another console, meaning you can't use pre-owned games or borrow games, if that's what you're referring to.
