Ipone software update

Just started me and mar misses updates and it said it would take 132hrs,yes 132hrs,luckly we are doing it by wi-fi and not connected to this laptop,it might not take as long for you but thought ad give you an heads up incase yer need yer phone,bit ****** of with this as I thought it would take a few hours not 132hrs,:mad::mad:

Mar misses phone now says 14hrs so it seems the time comes down dramatically as it goes along :)

Would think it would be far quicker if updated with a wired connection. It's 1.2 gigs in size.

There is also the fact that millions will be trying to do it at the same time. Gonna wait until the weekend probably, plug it in and leave it overnight. Will be done by the time in wake up.

Just spoken to a mate who updated in half an hour.

My update took about 20 mins advice is don't download update to I tunes do it direct to your I phone over a good wifi connection not a cloud connection
