I dont do Xmas..... I especially dont do Xmas lunches/dinners... over priced and over cooked and very little choice wherever you go its turkey and some form of sausage that tastes better than the turkey but worse than the napkin... it always surprises me what people will pay/buy/eat... because its Xmas.

it was £60 per person in the crown many years ago so i agree too expensive for what it is,i'll take my partner out for a meal before christmas and also just before new year and it wont cost more than than £30 for the two of us, a very good menu where we go,we both like a good carvery,and neither of us touch alcohol so we can enjoy the food, by the way ,the sample menu did nothing for me didn't fancy anything on it and being diabetic nowt would have fancied me either.

Brilliant well done good work. Alive network in Newcastle have some great bands. Get the club shop telling people a few flyers to banks schools and big businesses and distribution centres.

Needs to feel special champagne reception red carpet something a bit unique.

We're skint has posted and as I have stated is not looking for a job and just want to help with skills and contacts I have and I will not stop to offer this whilst jonnyaich bemoans my skills. I could even advise you jonny should you take business studies when you get to big school.

Currently have a month paternity off work looking after my gorgeous little daughter. So have plenty of time to help. Have never said I told you so.

The christmas party thing is excellent I will happily collect my humble pie from the wrights pie shop.

So what about weddings for 2014/15 how many ?

I know the two best venue planners in the midlands they can make every chair every table every table topper every wish tree every candy cart stationary and table plan the very very best.

the last time i wore a uniform my mates said what are you wearingf********g fancy dress and a clip board,oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh ,that brings back memories.paternity leave? how things have changed.anyway congrats on your little addition, now the sleepless nights enjoy.

The function room has been booked for most of the summer we also have sunday functions booked in.Next year most of june and all of july is booked with weddings,people are a tad cautious to book in august next year because they prefer to wait till the fixtures are out. weddings are not the be all and end all to the vale, any function will make the club money.Rooms are booked through out the week by various organisations which help to swell the coffers,and of course the games also help.
