I just noticed the SkyBet League patches for the shirts are up on the shop site, at £5.50.

Is it just me, who thinks that is overly expensive?

 

Given that the production price is no more than 5p per pair in China, that is a profit of £5.45 or more than 1000 pct...

 

Who makes all that money?? If it goes to the club, then alright (but still a bit greedy on a single product that tiny).

Or is it the Football League and SkyBet that dictates the price, and thereby lines their pockets in a big way??

Hideous item, best not to buy it at all - why deface a perfectly good shirt with advertising from a vile company like Sky. They should pay you to wear it. The profit margin is obscene, whether it goes to the club or not - and you can have a skybet that most of it doesn't !

I would reckon it will be Sky - they're everywhere ripping the genuine football fan off!

 

Here's a thing can the Sky Bet patches be purchased for kids shirts?? As I notice that team down the road only offer kids shirts without the betting sponsor splashed over the front.
