NLV Letter in response to the Anti-Mo rant???

Recommended Posts

Here is a question (or request) to NLV. Using your previous distribution list for Port Vale shareholders, could you produce a rebuttle together with LB to the "potentially libelous" comments made by the board about Mo to try and scaremonger shareholders into keeping them in?

Can I suggest it stress the following points:

1. This vote is not a vote to accept the Mo Chaudry bid or any other bid, but about whether we have confidence and belief that the current 5-man board is acting in the best interest of Port Vale, it's shareholders and fans

2. Emphasising the due process by which those who cannot now attend need to follow in ordfer to ensure that an NLV representative can act as their proxy

3. Stating a piont-by-point response to each of the claims made by the board in their 'literature'

4. Stressing that it is financially ridiculous to suggest that Mo Chaudry is attempting to buy Port Vale for the land. Basic Maths;

Option 1Cost to but Port Vale Shares @ 51% = £1.21m

Cost to buy remaining shares to pass a resolution to move from Port Vale = $0.6m

Cost to bulldoze Port Vale = ~£1m

Total cost in money = £2.8m

Option 2Total cost to buy 1/2 acre of land for redevelopment in SoT = £550,000 (http://www.uklanddirectory.org.uk/land-for-sale.asp?id=10042)

So it would be over £2m cheaper to buy land ready for use in countless other locations around SoT, for which there is no shortage of!!!

This does not include losses incurred thereof due to loss of reputation and hence customer support in the local area!

It's time to show up the board lies for what they are!

I am suspicious that for the first time the Board have included a SAE for proxys.

NLV you need to write to all shareholders immediately to ask them to notify you if they have sent in proxy votes.

I'm sure you can work out the inference.

So the board have encouraged fans to send them their proxys? No offence meant, but the more 'out of touch' supporter with events may just think that this a normal course of action and pop them in the post.

I'm staggered it is legal to send propaganda and SAEs encouraging people to give their proxys to the board WITH the actual EGM letter.

It is like a political party being allowed to send out materials with the voting slips. They really are desperate not to lose this aren't they. Really, really desperate.

Please rest assured NLV are taking stock of the situation and will be working towards a fair and equitable EGM whereby the fans voices will be heard. We will be working otowards acting if required for as many proxy voters as needed.

This ill thought out propaganda shows the board in their true light.
