I’d say that there isn’t a stand out player in our defence they’re all about the same. I also don’t think there’s a great deal of pace either. Therefore Balmer has to return he’s come from an Prem club and should have been commanding our defence. I’d have thought that Palace would have been keeping a close eye on him and his days there are numbered. Thomas is keep if he was playing as he’s better than the comedy due we have up front but whether through injury or just not been selected, I think he’ll return to his club. I also feel Spurs will place Alfie in the Championship, Like Arblaster. With the young players coming through and holding their own, I’m not that convinced we’ll bring anyone in. If I had my wish I’d bring in a pacy LB and RB, just to stem the amount of goals we concede. We aren’t prolific goal scorers and if we don’t concede we get at least a point. That’s providing we stop playing Tipley ball, I see the Peterborough GK gifted Barnsley a goal through thinking he could play football and getting caught out. With exception of one or two GK’s in the world they shouldn’t be trying to do this. There’s a reason why GK’s are allowed to use their and it’s because they’re not outfield players.

Can’t question his quality, but we released him in the summer. Due to injuries I wouldn’t say James has even played a cameo role this season, however we are a better team when he is on the pitch. For me it says a lot about Loft and Uche when they’re giving James an extension. I don’t think we’ll be seeing a new striker coming into the club. Good luck James, just please help to keep us up 🙏🏽.

No he won’t he’ll do something akin to how we started the game. Nice guy but intellectually bankrupt when it comes to footballing ideology. I’ve just watched the goals from yesterday the third goal that lump Lift gets brushed off the ball, which I’d have thought would take some doing looking at his upper physique, obviously not. Then a good strike from their player, which it didn’t seem as though Ripley vision was obscured yet it beat him with ease. The only excuse I can think of in Ripley defence is that he’s not used to playing so deep.

I can’t help but to think that AC is confused about a couple of things and perhaps we’re all being a tad harsh on the fella.
1. We play with a cavalier attitude, so if the opponents score 3, we’ll score 2.
2.Tis the season of good will, I think he’s actually interpreted this as the football season.

Two big games around us today, involving Exeter v Wycombe and Fleetwood v Carlisle. If we can keep a clean sheet and score two goals, it’ll be a fantastic result.

Hop, only keep him if we can get rid of Loft/Uche or both which I know is very unlikely. We’d still need to bring in another striker possibly a loan, which is always a gamble. Loft/Uche were things done on the cheap which with our budget will be very expensive, for a club of our stature and finances.
