Believe what you want, but 'I understand' is speculative journalism or statement and not actual fact [emoji106] just saying. UTV [emoji123] -

Not making f all up and why is it nonsense just because you don't accept/believe it? I believe my sources over Baggers. Baggers states 'I understand ' clear as day , so yeah, it must be true and anything to the contrary is 'making things up and is nonsense' [emoji849] -
Yh it's bizarre. Unless he's saying to himself I know this lot are <ovf censored> etc give me next season. He seems over joyed and proud that we can occasionally keep a clean sheet. F me that's really a winning mentality. A huge amount to prove next season with no where or nothing to hide behind

Summer transfer rumours and speculation

It's been said over and over we had an upper league two budget in league 1. It simply wasn't enough revenue to stabilise us, especially with getting promoted a season earlier. Hence why Carol and Kevin have been putting 1 mill of their own cash in for the last two seasons. Its obvious cutbacks and penny watching was put in place. I think someone said the amount of players got in on Flitcrofts watch, it was a crazy amount , how many were a success, how many did we actually pay for? Lofty I think for 75k [emoji848] [emoji849][emoji3] that's it . They tried on a shoestring and it bit them hard, which is why we are where we are. Which we all know about. The club has worked on revenue streams within the club to become sustainable ie catering and packages on match days as an example. Robbie Williams 15k a home game plus booze sales the same with the Valiants suite. Probably 50 k a home game combined . That adds upto a fair old bit over a season. All the functions, Xmas etc etc it all adds upto a multi million pound turnover, the profits will seep into the club, that's the whole point of progressing these infrastructures. Profit and sustainability for the club. They honestly believed we would survive in league 1 and we would progress into next season. DM not keeping us up is just the icing on the cake, we weren't talking a million points. Just a few over a relatively long period of the season. He's messed up regardless of the players he has at his disposal. We have seen it with the lack of tactics and fight and hunger instilled in the team. Imo he is already under pressure for next season. Luckily our upper league two budget should cover things but he has a lot to prove. -

Well it looks like he gets the very rare accolade of getting two clubs relegated in the same season. From what I've seen so far and with this accolade hanging over him I'm really not full of confidence at all with him. Shame as with all our managers, I desperately want it to work out for them. I was excited by his appointment but he has been terrible so far and we are worse atm. I can't see him having any sort of budget next season as we have so many under contract still. However he simply has to get some forwards and left and right backs [emoji849] but who will we get? Sicknotes and obscure signings on the cheap of no merit [emoji58] Carol seems to not listen to anything football so don't hold your breath for anything [emoji17]

Not really. Purse strings will most likely be shut aswell

Carols just his next one. He's done AC, DF and now CS. Once she's gone I've heard he's going to go for the lad that heats the pies [emoji3050] up in the railway kiosk. No one is safe from him [emoji3]
-
Yet another clear out. Then the intense disappointment of signing players we've hardly or never heard of on the cheap. Chuck in a few cheap sicknotes, long term and sporadic, a few loanees who if we're lucky will get half a season out of but the majority of them won't even play for us. Plus a few that no one else wants no matter what and that will be the 'rebuild'. Maximum spend 75k All the others free agents, loanees. Bring on League 2 [emoji123][emoji3]

Or has DM been brutally honest with Carol and said no chance of staying up with these. It's too late. Give me a 5 Yr deal and a budget and I'll get you back up, but you have to get rid of Flitcroft as he's responsible for all of this and I can't work with him. The fans are going to go demented with a relegation but we ride it and start winning in league 2 and they will soon forget about this. Fk knows [emoji849][emoji3]

Just the Vale effect Seagull, nothing more, nothing less. He will leave us and go somewhere for next season and absolutely smash it again [emoji849] [emoji1787] -

Yep he's pretty much kept them in it with a strong possibility of staying up. Think he got 6 in 7 before he got injured -
We were all expecting more, far more from our 'name' manager. Carol and Flitcroft were made up we got him as were most of the fan base. C and F were made up as it would hopefully releive some of the increasing pressure of relegation and get fans back on side for next season in league 1, once DM had worked his magic and we scraped thru. Fact is, under his short tenure so far, it literally couldn't of gone any worse for Carol, Flitcroft the club and fans. Surely with a manager of DMs 'pedigree' we should be staying up? Atm he's just another not very good manager. The argument of him needing his own players, team etc is a get out, or get firmly in jail card for him and tbh he is lucky to have that one for next season because let's face it, he has been atrocious so far. But yeah, that's the players, Carol's, Supporters fault, not his. I expected him to keep us up.
-
He didn't have a massive amount to do points wise when he came to keep us up . He also had games in hand etc etc. So what he's 'achieved' since he's been with us is very very poor. Dubious tactics and subs have put him very much on the radar for ineptness. He must of known what he was walking into and how instrumental was he in Flitcroft going? It will all come out with the wash as we lumber into league 2 for another fun packed drama free season.
