I tend to agree with you, but suspect that ship has sailed!
Absolutely it has. It was just in reply to someone talking about the turnaround he’s made at Cheltenham. Wouldnt be surprised to see him raiding us for some players, hopefully we can have a clear out too.

Ripley has had more touches of the ball than any other GK in the EFL!!!
Didn’t Yatesy say that stat came from one of the groundsmen when he was doing commentary today?

He's certainly taken Cheletenham forward by massive steps in a short period of time. Whether "new manager bounce" remains to be seen, but if they do continue on this upward trajectory they could soon be overhauling PV--that would speak volumes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Difference is that he’s a manager with a proven track record with us and Bristol Rovers.

Bet they’re all got better control of a ball than some of these dossers playing today
They certainly want the ball more.

Someone must have picked up an injury in the warm up which happens quite alot at vale
I know it’s been running joke for years, but I really think we have to question the training pitches and how heavy they are for adding to players fatigue. Before speedy “left” he was very vocal about them.

When players start arguing with fans in the stand, you need serious changes at the club.
Who was arguing?

Sounds like warfare down there. To be fair it’s carnage here on my settee with 3 dogs fighting, not sure if it’s because of the game or if they want just one of the toy bones they had for xmas.

Sad as it is we need more of that booing! Put some pressure on that soft arse Carol. She won't axe him tho she'll be sucking him off tonight whilst Kevin is taking the dog for a walk. It's sickening
Why don’t you take all this to the Crosby out thread. You’re up there with RZ for spamming threads. You’re the worst poster we’ve had since RZ. When we’re 4-0 down I’ll say it again for you 😂

At least playing three centre backs has made us solid. Oh….
Against a good team like this I don’t understand why we’ve not played this half by being more compact. We are so open with both wingbacks playing high and centre midfield runners running through unopposed without someone sitting in front of the back 4.
-
Men against boys in the centre of midfield. Walters hasn’t got the experience yet to deal with this. I said it the other night that our outside centre halves aren’t good enough to play football from the back and Debra has given it away a lot, to top it off that was poor defending to dive in there. And yet another runner into the box wasn’t tracked. That was our Achilles heel for the 7-0 and they’re exploiting it again here.

Worst manager we've had since Jim Gannon.
He isn’t.

I agree, I just don’t see Loft as that man, I know it’s tough with injuries now, but with the options we have I would look at Garrity up there with wilson, Devine and Chislett playing off him. Loft needs to turn up today, can’t be worse that he has been previously I suppose.
I think we tend to isolate our forwards too much and just fire long balls up to them with little support. Not much they can do with crap service.

I just feel that Garrity is better coming on to the ball from midfield. That’s where we’ve got the best out of him in the past. There’s no way loft and Uche are as bad as they are currently, I don’t think we are playing a system to get players quickly enough around them to play off them.

Hard to see what options there are. Conlon is clearly off on 1 Jan. Don't see Cass as better than the other centrehalves in the squad, or on the bench..
I reckon Cass could be one to go too.

State of that 18. Loft and Massey on again, both clearly impressed on saturday! I get it wilson won’t be fit for the 90 but I’d rather we take the game to them with Wilson on from the start and loft later on if need be
I know loft isn’t flavour of the month but I’m convinced we’ve got to play with a striker, play up to them and get bodies around them. Try and get them playing through their poor form. Funny that Massey saved his good game for when he played his former club last week.

Yeah ok 🙄
Shorrock is straight on to the bench today, so clearly something’s happened to one of our players for us to have to recall him at short notice. Maybe next time they can give you some notice on injuries or illness. What kind of timeframe would you like before you think the club is tinpot?

why does it? We've loaned him out for a month then recalled him after less than a week. If we're that short on numbers why send him out in the first place
Things happen in football for players to be recalled at any point whether it’s after 1 day or 3 weeks. It could be we need him back for whatever reason. It could be that it’s down to something on the loan clubs part too. It’s not tin pot at all. Just sounds like you’re having a pop for the sake of it.

Just noticed we've recalled Shorrock from Stafford Rangers after only 2 appearances. Maybe he's gonna be in the matchday squad , it all looks a bit embarrassing & tin pot
Why does it?

Garrity ran off celebrating that his header had gone over the line before Wilson followed it in.

Dire performance, didn’t deserve anything
I disagree. Horrible away performance and we nick a draw from it. How many times has that happened to us at home and we all say we’ve been done by a horrible team.
However, I’d love to see us being able to be playing like we did last week at home, but that’s not always going to happen when we go away.

You know we can moan all we like about how we play away from home. But if we can hang on and get a point then that’s a good result in my book. And 7 points from 3 games is a good return.

Carrying on with picking up on Jonnys rants, he’s at it again on the latest pod episode about the Barnsley game. Talking about the injury record and that maybe some of those “injured” players are actually hiding because the goings getting tough and are shying off. He really does spout some unbelievabke stuff sometimes.
