I can't understand why folk are saying the statement gave a total lack of information. It says that a considerable amount of the discussion was about the Director of Football. It says there was an acknowledgment from the club that communication with fans had been poor. It says there was a robust debate about accountability for football performance. What else did you want to know??

I assume the aim was to open constructive dialogue with the club and try to begin healing the rift between club and fans.

Would you seriously have expected to have achieved that after one meeting? Would you seriously have expected the D o F to be sacked by the club after one meeting with fans?

I love it when fans criticise some people who have tried to do something about the situation whilst sitting on their backside in front of a computer.

I believe the explanation for the delay in the Paddock loos was something to do with the heavy plant needed to do the rebuild would block the turnstiles and exit so can only be done in the close season. Don’t know if that’s correct.

I always thought a project manager just buggered about drinking tea and telling everyone else to do the work.

If Carol can't bring herself to remove DF, why not give him a changed role and put him in charge of project managing all the ground developments which is the part of his job he seems good at. Then let the manager sort out recruitment along with the existing recruitment team.
