that was posted at the start of the season when a load of people said we were deluded to put bets on vale getting promotion?

i hope you guys are eating a nice big slice of humble pie!

 

No humble pie from me - even though I felt (and stated) that we may do well merely to survive 46 games. I don't need to justify my opinion at the time, neither do I need to bow to those who felt differently.

After 46 games Vale will finish where they deserve to, thanks to hard work, diligence, dedication, skill, talent, sheer ****** mindedness and some luck.

It had/has nothing to do whatsoever with my opinion way back in August of last year, just like next seasons finishing position will have nothing to do with my opinion at this juncture.

Your opinion (as stated) does not need to be justififed.

what i am saying is, those that used the term 'deluded' should be eating humble pie, because that was our opinion.

we believed in the squad, the backroom staff exc, whereas some didnt.see what i mean?
