People can hold the view that the moon is made of cream cheese as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't matter as long as they are not personal and respect the opinions of others. I only try and post what I would say face to face with someone over a pint, irrespective of their views. Everyone sends the odd post they regret but it's a forum and people seriously need to lighten up at times................

Admittedly, I could be classed as one of those "not happy" at the moment, but I like to think I enter into constructive debate rather than simply abuse. I think debate/discussion is healthy. There are people on both sides of the table, who's main aim is not to discuss differing opinion, but to wind up the people they disagree with, and that's where the conflict starts. They're the people who don't really care about the Vale as they are more concerned with personal battles and getting "one up" on people. We all know who they are. At least those of us who do debate genuinely care about the club, the future and despite coming from differing angles, actually want the same thing.

 

To cut a long story short, admin are right to allow the debate to continue, it's those who try to cause conflict (the wind up merchants) who are trying to maintain a fractured fanbase. I'll say everything I say on here face to face, it doesn't mean I wont share a pint with someone of differing opinion as many who know me, I'm sure will confirm.

LOL this site would then just be a propaganda site showing either that all things are rubbish and that the vale world is about to end or indeed that everything smells of roses and we are the best we have ever been and even when we lose we are great. Have people forgot that this is a Forum??

Yes- this site was formed with good intentions and the love of all things vale.

 

Now it has become the means to destroy all that is good about supporting the vale

 

To be fair i have always thought that this is a website set up to discuss ALL things Vale related whether good or bad

If people feel the need to criticise its better on OVF than at the games.Stay off MA's and the players backs at home,support Vale home and away.Its in our hands to get promotion out of this crap league.Think positive and you will be positive,bit of Mystic Meg there.A win tonight,York away and the Shotts at home and the garden is rosie again is it not ??

Top post caz I have said on here its like catch phrase I simply say what I see. But you are totally right a truce is what we need. Wish some one had produced a truce thread. Not long to go now I will only post the positives and have my say at season end.
