We haven't won by the odd goal at home this season. The games we have won have all been by 3 or more goals ( in the league ). So i predict a 4 - 1 win. Then again we could lose 2 - 0 or even draw.

A comfortable win I reckon - far too much fire power in Pope & Hughes.

We had plenty of fire power without Hughes. It will be interesting to see how the old legs manage on our pitch.

Too many bad Accrington experiences for me. A scraped win with a late goal from sub Williamson. 2-1.

Can't see our defence keeping a clean sheet.

after speaking to an accy fan today his thoughts replicate mine. they are not the normal accy stanley we come up against . they are very low on confidence , will come and try to pinch a point. he has said that they are still trying to play football but as soon as they concede they more or less give up . he is expecting nothing other than defeat.

 

we need to make sure we start quickly ala gills away . we need to maintain a high tempo and not get frustrated . so long as we go infront they will have to change their tactics , we need to be full throttle to make sure we punish them . if we turn up already thinking we have won will come unstuck . the correct mental approach is required.
