Thinking about doing this for Charity later this year.

 

Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in 24 hours.

 

Just wondering if anyone's done it and how difficult they found it?

 

I'll be doing plenty of training and am in reasonable shape.

You will probably get a lot of response/advice/people talking shi ite if you ask on PVO.

Yeah, did it a couple of years back, including a section of driving the minibus from Nevis to Glasgow as our driver let us down last minute.

 

Don't do that, it hurts.

 

Couple of things - if hiring a minibus, make sure it's not speed restricted to 62mph. That ****ed us over big time. Also, hire a minibus much bigger than required so you have spare seats to stretch out on. If you're cramped up in a single seat you'll have mega cramp and you'll seize up.

 

It's not that difficult to be fair as long as you're reasonably fit, know the routes and are used to mountains or hillwalking.

Nephew has a 13 seater, so that should do the job.

 

I've done a fair bit of fell walking in the lakes, but was thinking of doing each one individually first, so we know what we're dealing with.

 

Won't be attempting any driving.

Should be 4 or 5 plus drivers
