New Signing?

I've been for a drink this evening with my wife to our local in Cheshire and whilst partaking of a drink or two ..... I was asked who our new signing is? However being in admin and aware of our circumstances I thought he was trying to wind me up!

 

Nevertheless I was assured by the source that the person he'd spoken too was the wife/partner of the new signing and was from South Wales and looking for a job in the area.

 

This "source" is not a football fan and seemed surprised that I was not aware of this development. So I ask that you don't shoot me down, all that I'm doing is passing on a rumour/gossip/good news from somebody who I see as someone who has no reason to lie to us.

That Is strange, i thought we couldn't sign anyone, it would be nice to have a couple of more players to strengthen the squad though.

Actually that's a good call and something that I've not thought about. Like I said the female was looking for a new job and was from South Wales. I'm at a loss as to who it could be if they are already at the club.

The rumour was a French C/B was invited for a trial as he Wife was looking for work in a local University as a Language/Interpreter teacher. At the moment he resides in Swansea, If its the same player he has played in France, Japan and Israel, i won't name him just in case i have got him mixed up........I think he is about 28yrs.
