I have reached out to the club for a list of players available for sponsorship. Once I get it I will be asking the contributor to vote (one vote per £10 given).

However, I understand the club ask last season's sponsors if they want to renew first off so there may be a slight delay before we get the list.

Just a note on the above for anyone who haven't contributed and/or any contributors who haven't read the emails yet.

I'm delighted to report that it seems that kit sponsorship is flying at the club this summer. We had to react really quickly to get Jordan Gabriel and pretty much every player still on the books from last season is now already sponsored. 

So, although it was a bit of a rush to get the player it's great that we had to rush because there is such interest in sponsorship. In previous years, we have had pretty much the whole squad to select from, so the current situation (players getting snapped up quickly) is a good problem for the club to have!

Yep, it was all very quick, so sorry if some of you hadn't even read the first email before the decision was made. 

As some people have multiple £10 entries, it turned out to be pretty quick to get the 50%+ majority needed. 

For those who contributed - there will be a lucky draw later on when two names will be drawn out to attend the sponsorship event (I opt myself out of the draw for fairness). Once the club tell me when the event is going to happen then the draw will take place. The sponsorship event is a really nice day by all accounts - you get a meal, attend a training event, Q&A with the manager, ground tour, meet the player and get a gift (usually a signed shirt). I jumped the gun a little bit with the article but I am happy to confirm I have just formally signed the contract to sponsor Jordan. It's all officially confirmed now. 

Happy with just supporting the club, didn't really matter who for me
