I personally do not think that Matt Hancock is qualified either professionally or by experience to be a CEO. He was head of community at Burton less than 18 months ago. That does not prepare you to run a Company in its entirety. So Carol stepping aside is not good in my view and something tells me that will be the gradual pull back by the family. Too much hurt and too many mistakes.
I can only see more struggle ahead.

Please don’t misunderstand, we can all see that Darren and his staff are committed to a massive improvement in footballing performance in the coming season.

Morsy has done fabulously for himself. Met him in Chesterfield once when he played for them. A genuinely nice fellow. Well done Sam.

Looked at his LinkedIn profile. He has the qualifications and experience to be CEO at a professional sporting organisation like Port Vale. I don't think there is a sustainable criticism to be made. I'm pleased he's our man.
