The FL website is run by third parties who run all the official sites, they just pool news from them for inclusion. All this from an unclear statement and no clarification. We understand ratification has not yet taken place and nothing has changed form this time last week

from our own SC club

like i said, clear as mud

The Football League would be left with massive egg on their faces if a news story on their OFFICIAL website turned out to be false.

The SC can be as apprehensive as they like, but unless somebody can prove otherwise, I'm happy that this is a done deal and I'm proud to welcome Keith Ryder to Port Vale FC.

Welcome Keith Ryder, even if the FL continue to mess around, they wouldnt have asked to put the statement on the website if they were not going to progress the takeover.

I don't understand the "clarification". It seems to confuse things more than anything.

From the FL statement...

Lancashire businessman Ryder and the club's administrators Begbies-Traynor last week completed all the necessary paperwork, but the deal was still subject to approval. That approval was granted on Friday afternoon.
