A well put together statement Keith, now welcome to the real world of Stoke-on-Trent, where we have a local tin pot of a so called newspaper, which is politicaly biased against the City Council, and is also localy run, by a Stoke City fan, I hope you have got a good legal team, because you will probably need them, when you take our belovered club over.

 

I think you've hit the nail on the head here - remember how they slagged Ryder off for not having the time to devote to giving them an interview when he was announced as preffered bidder? A guy buying the club should not have to put his entire world on hold to do an interview with the local paper where they will ask him loads of questions he wouldn't have the answer to at that point.

 

I wonder where the paper got this information - could it be a councellor willing to dish confidential dirt in order to get the local rag onside I wonder? Of course speaking to Port Vale to clarify it would obvisouly not sit with their agenda to sell papers to council hating members of the public, would it?

Its just a shame that the Sentinel didnt dedicate this sort of 'informed' 'investigative' 'journalism' to the inside page, small column length, sketchy stories they did about the Brittania Stadium incident. They have spent more time trying to put a destructive view of recent incidents at Vale accross in the last 3 months than the 5 days they spent 'investigating' the Brittania situation.

 

I wonder if thats why Martin Tideswell is no longer Deputy Editor, because the Editor is a Stoke Fan and can do what he wants qithout questioning any more. Deplorable Paper, we should do what Liverpool did with the Sun, and not buy it anymore. Its not like it has good coverage anyway IMHO.
