I think no matter how poor the outfield was, we may well have gone in at 0-0 half time if Stones had saved the first goal by pushing the shot to a safe point on the pitch. 

Both our goalkeepers owe us improvement on shots from outside the box. By Saturday please.

Linesman second goal might be a very close call but to illustrate how bad he was happened 10 minutes later when Taylor was 2 yards off side and he didn’t flag.
Stewarding - Vale have got some right d**kheads and wind them up. But did not see any trouble so can not understand why after the game a policeman went up to a number of stewards and asked “if they had been racially abused by Vale supporters”.

The size of the police presence both before and after the game was astonishing. It seemed totally disproportionate for the fixture.
