What happens if...

You might not like this but If Bill Bratt was still Chairman I dont think we would be in this mess.

Perhaps the same financial position be but whether you like him (as most on this site would confirm) or not Bratty would have handled this better. The tax man only issues "winding up orders" when all else fails so I suspect that this was a last resort because no one was talking to them in recent months. This tax bill must be an accumalation over a very long period if it is £750k as we are led to believe.

I think Miller has accellerated our demise by total mis management of a very serious situation aided possibly unwittingly by by his right hand man.

I just hope that it ALL comes out in the wash eventually.

This is all bratts fault. Without a shadow of a doubt. A utterly disposable human being.

Much has already been said with regards to MOLD etc. It was only a matter of time until this situation we find ourselves in arose. The major problem we have had since Bratt departed is that nobody wants to take ownership of the situation. Not one of them wants to be remembered as the name that put Vale into admin. This for me is the reason we never hear anything from the club, nobody wants to be the spokesperson, nobody wants to be the "fall guy."

Ironically they couldnt be more out of touch as they are all loathed to a man by most Vale fans now and this final selfish act of continued silence from the club is nothing short of disgraceful. They have NO feelings for PVFC and do not give a dam about anybody or anything other than themselves.

Well apparently staffs tax has not been paid since June...Bratt was chairman in June. We are where we are with or without Bratt!

You're still trying to defend Bratt?!? Unbelievable!

Bratt employed Deakin. Bratt was the one who bought Ameriturf to the table, a deal brokered by Peter Miller. Bratt was the Chairman when Mark Caitlin, Mike Newton and Mo Chaudry were turned down when offering to invest in the club. Bratt was chairman when the Harlequinn loan was taken out. Bratt took a salary of £50k per annum out of the club whilst failing to trade profitably. Bratt, at the first whiff of trouble sold his shares and recouped his outlay even though he said he would never do this. Bratt oversaw our fall down the leagues.

What good did he do for the club?

Unfortunately Cheeky you are wasting your breath (or should I say words) here because the Bratt supporters never have facts or evidence to back up their claims of Bill's good deeds whereas you have given plenty of facts and evidence to prove just what a disaster Bill Bratt has been for the club.

I will add another fact here and that it was BB who brought back Adams at a pay rate that this club clearly could not afford at the time. Much though Micky has done for us again, there was no way a chairman should sanction this type of contract when we were already making substantial losses. This type of decision is why we are where we are.
