Just found this link from back when Robbie bought £240,000 of shares.

 

A little statement at the bottom of the page caught my eye;

 

Robbie has previously admitted he would love to be a director of the club one day.

 

"My heart strings have definitely been pulled hearing about Port Vale's problems," he said in one interview.

A concert at the Vale ground,or in Sproson park or even if nowhere else is available (deep breath) Britannia stadium.

Proceeds to Vale, support band could be All the young.

I can't see RW throwing money at the club and I cant blame him to be honest but what I really would love to see him do is go after the people who have caused this and destroy them if possible.

Robbie Williams does not owe us anything. He told everyone the score when he bought his shares, the shares he has been good enough to let the supporters club use. It is a pipe dream and we need to get realistic or we'll be disappointed.

 

Don't get me wrong, if he thinks the time is right, then fair play but it is entirely up to him and no one should give him stick for not doing more. He'll also have trusted advisers telling him it's madness
