Mainly Leeds Jimmy, but he took Vale to heart when his family moved to this area. I've stood alongside him in the old Bycars all those years ago, and he always had his Leeds scarf on show. ===

I was on the other side of him then....And his brother attended also. His dad was a Professor at Keele University. ;)

Phil Shaw is my uncle - he's both Vale and Leeds, as am I. As an earlier poster noted, he leans closer to the White Rose of Yorkshire. He emailed me after yesterday's game saying we played pretty well, with Pope, Griffith and Loft most impressive, whereas Richards had a mare.

It's bizarre to think that Billy Paynter should end up playing for both clubs. When he made his Vale debut, Leeds were in the last four of the Champions League.

I thought Pope was MOM by far yesterday. Disappointed in how badly Marc Richards is playing at the moment, just as we really need him scoring to help us push for play off spot. How times have changed, when just at the turn of the year, an automatic place was almost certain.

Interested point re. Billy Paynter. ===

Is Marc really fit? Would it be an idea to rest him Tuesday, ready for Saturdays lucky ground?

Don't re-write history. I don't think an automatic spot was certain, it would have been a great effort staying in the top 3.
