There was a bloke at Macclesfield who had a "Bring Bratt Back" flag before the game.

 

He got some verbals.

 

You've got to be kidding, SERIOUSLY who was this idiot, this must have been a joke surely. If not aarrrrrggg, some people are so thick and stupid, sadly they all seem to be Vale fans do some people never want to see this club progress again, arrgh its so annoying.

I dont know who it was.

 

I got in the ground just before kick off and stood with a good friend of mine who was fuming that a guy had unveiled a Bring Bratt Back flag!!

I turned around to see who it was and heard a bit of effin and blinding going on.

 

My friend in question was in his 50s. I thought he was going to lamp the fella!!

While I actually respect Bill, because he was always happy in the early days to talk to fans...the reality is he is simply incapable of making decisions in the best interests of the club. I think he should be able to come back as a fan and should be able to enjoy a day out at the club without being abused, but that is it. He worked hard for the club and I think some fans forget that.

Excellent post. Clearly it's an emotive issue for a lot of people, but the bit highlighted in red cuts through everything else in the argument.
