Marc Richards To Leave Vale?

Not set in stone but I think he has realised that he needs too play every game too get a new contract elsewhere in the summer...

 

I feel it is inevitable that he will be gone in the Summer transfer window, Miller has said he would have too take a pay cut too earn another contract at Vale!

 

This is awful news... We will no doubt lose our best Striker and worst of all.. We won't get a penny for him...

 

Only hope now is that we can go into admin before the end of the season, but even then we will get deducted points and we won't be anywhere near the promotion play-offs, which he has said if we do not get there this season then it will be a 'Failure'

 

I genuinely do feel that this will be our last season with Richards.. As alot of clubs will now be scouting him, and he will get alot more money than Vale can offer... It's a Shame but it's inevitable now I think with the fiasco going on with the board who are killing this Club from Root to Core...!!!

not being negative,but how can you not be being a Vale supporter nowadays,but Marc how does his goals from open play stand up to his penalties? I know taking penalties is,nt all cut and dried and usually theres a bit of pressure, but i think they should be kept seperate in the players goal tally.

Richards would then be trying even harder to get his contract renewed whilst thinking that he would get the same amount.

Richards and the rest of the out of contract players are disillusioned with the club which has affected team spirit.
