I heard that it might be worth checking if there was any connection between the Sainted William MBE and a certain finance provider based in a British territory close to the Iberian peninsula, but then that might be a red herring.....or something equally fishy

 

It's hard to know which rumours to trust....this one might have some legs, though. If so, it adds another dimension of dishonesty to the whole scenario, though.....

Why should he have had perks out of his beloved football club? It is not like he was employed? The CEO pay was unjustified, a FL2 chairman usually does it for love of the club, how many have CEOs? It was not like with Miller who had to be head hunted from the other side of the world.:laugh:
