Port Vale chief executive Colin Garlick is hoping the decision to offer free season tickets to under-12s will help the Valiants fight back in the battle to attract young supporters in the Potteries.Vale accept they have an ageing fan-base, and are also having to compete with the resources of Premier League Stoke City as they try to get junior fans through the gates. One way would be to speak to the schools and give them free match day tickets.

 

But most of all, play attractive football and win games. Then they will have something good to see and want to come back. No body wants to watch the team loose week after week.
