I don't think we've offered Streete another contract so he can walk away for nowt.

 

Realistically, there will be a handful of league one clubs sniffing at our players now and I would not be at all surprised to see the likes of Foley and Streete go, possibly Smith (if we get an offer for him) and if I was managing the likes of Shrewsbury & Oldham etc. maybe Eagles and Bikey too.

 

I hope I'm wrong.

 

It was said a few months back that they were in talks with Streete and Foley to extend their contracts.

Smaller squad - quality over quantity.

 

The money from Amoros departure split between Street and Foley.

 

Give them the Amoros salary as an extra between them. Tell them your plan to build the team round them, massage their egos and wallets, and get them signed up quick.

 

Amoros was one of lowest earners. He was on peanuts. Won't be anywhere near enough.
