I ask the question again.......Ameriturf PAID the Club 60k for their expensives in America and Canada..........Mike Lloyd told me this personally when i quizzed him on their DD just before he flew out with Deakin. Why would Ameriturf sponsor the Club to the tune of 60k which he said they paid in FULL if there was NO connection or contract signed. Anyone. :unsure:

 

It's a good question, Jimmy, but the 60k was underwritten by the clubs we played against (to an extent, at least). Perhaps AGS just funded part of it and put it down as a PR exercise.

 

But I know that AGS were not alone in being involved in organising it, so maybe others participated in the costs, too?
