I thought he'd been 'exterminated' only in a slightly more humane fashion than Ernst Rohm? I miss him being in the media, especially his radio interviews and 'debates' where he came across as a character from Python's Election Special sketch.

 

Whatever the outcome of the election in the soon to be defunct ward of Stoke Central UKIP's days are numbered, they've (unfortunately in my view) managed to achieve getting us to withdraw from the EU and as such their reason for existence has ceased to be, they are now little more than a vehicle for the extreme right of the Tory party who will return to their fold and support the likes of the hideous Jacob Rees-Mogg seeking greater social injustice and an Adam Smith free market economy.

 

What I really, genuinely, don't understand is exactly what do UKIP supporters think a post-EU Britain will look like in 20 or 30 years? What is it they are hoping to achieve and just how realistic are those hopes? Personally, as I've posted before, I don't think many people will get what they voted for in the Brexit referendum because remain voters obviously won't and I can't see the UK becoming some kind of independent Utopia where we all have a great standard of living whilst 'ethnically cleansing' our island.
