Whilst the protests before and after the games may have been suspended (as a gesture of good faith), the SEO campaign will continue until such time as Mike Lloyd re-engages with Mark Sims and Mark is satisfied with such discussions and willing to join the board as per his electoral mandate.

You will sense thus a cautious optimism but trust is not regained overnight and there remains a good deal of work to be done on the club's part. Mark Sims is key to everything and that is where their time and energy now needs to be focused.

Mark is seen as the future of the club and so the club need to be open with him and address all of his questions and concerns. We are at a critical stage and with Mark on board there is hope. Without Mark we fear anarchy.

Dave Felstead

Vice-Chairman

Port Vale SC

I agree 100% Dave.

Put it down to an age thing,if you like,

but.

after spending the best part of 50 years as a vale fan,

Walsall as never been at the top of my favourites list,

Mr Loyd when at the pinacle of his business empire,

never had a good word to say for Port Vale.

Never trusted the geezer then, nothing has happened

to change my mind.

St Patrick got rid of the snakes in Irland,

bring in Mark Sims in the guise of St Patrick to get rid of the

snakes currently inhabitating Vale Park.

St Patrick would be very busy with the amount of snakes at Vale Park!!

Would you sign up to become a Director (and take on the financial debt of that company) without being allowed to see the books to judge what the exact financial position is?

No, of course you wouldn't - so why should Mark Sims?

.

He didn't see the books because he wouldn't enter into a confidentiality agreement
