Yes they cost more than they give back to our club.but unfortunately every club as them.don't really think they are supporters,very rarely do you see trouble makers wearing there club colours

The difference today was Paddy Madden, he's a top player who has scored 22 goals this season where we have no one like that.

 

Paddy Madden has had 2 good seasons and quite a few when he couldn't hit a barn door. The big difference between us and Scunthorpe is they've conceded a lot less - they've only scored one or 2 more.

Just seen highlights and what a shocking goal .Defending was worse than ladsandads standard.

 

Must agree - particularly Purkiss. He started off tracking Madden, then stopped and started moving away from him towards the centre of the goal. That left Madden with a free header and loads of time. Guess that's why he isn't a centrehalf. Even if he'd just stayed in his eye line it would have made it a lot more difficult for him.

Also brown let the cross come in too easily. When streete became unavailable before the game I don't know why we didn't go back to 4-4-2 and bringing a winger on. Putting purkiss out of position and bringing on Yates at wing back is hardly ideal.

Strange how there are just some teams we never do well against Bristol City are one and Scunthorpe are another. No league win against them for 30yrs, no away win in the league against them for 43yrs. In fact we've never won a league game at Glanford Park luckily they'll be moving soon!

Dissapointing game for the final away day. They were an efficient side and we lacked any kind of threat going forward. J.J. tried his best with poor service whilst Theo looked more like the player from a few weeks back. Yates did little to convince anyone he is worthy of a contract too.
