Boycott OVF

Something should be done to counteract this OVF boycott.

 

Someone should set up a website which represents the rational views of all Vale fans, allows people to voice opinions and offer logic to underpin their arguments in the interests of open and honest debate ...

 

Wherever to find one though, hmmmmmm?

Nobody has any respect for posters who weild steadfast convictions against facts and overwhelming opposition without offering any concrete reasoning for their beliefs.

 

'It's what I believe' doesn't make what that person has to say more appealing to other posters. If they spout it in a public forum, expect it to get exposed for what it is, whether it be valid, moronic etc. Posters often go into defence-mode when they realise their opinion is ridiculous. No debate, no justification, just attack attack attack.

Think its only right for people to have their own opinions. I for one think OVF is a great site to get info and have a discussion, but lately it seems you cant have an opinion unless its against the board and not going to the matches.

 

If that were true, then you and others like you would not have a single post registered and would not be allowed on the site. But you have and you are, which immediately disproves your point. No one says you cant have your own opinions... You dont have any right to post them on this site.... you are, however, allowed to post them provided they are within the rules.... If you make statements on an open forum, like this, you should expect people who dont have the same opinion to question it and pick it apart. They will/should offer a counter argument in support of their own opinion.

To suggest that if you dont belong/agree with B&G or SeO you cant have/voice you opinion is false.

When B&G backed Mo I disagreed with the move.... I argued my opinion [without abuse] and read the counter arguments [without abuse] The debate was lengthy and passionate.... I am still here.... the counter argument posters are still here.

People dont get banned for their opinion they get banned for breaking the rules... its that simple
