Im a tad confused.

 

There is an active SEO campaign, to remove the final members of the board. Assuming this is successful, who would take over then? What happens to the running of the club?

 

There is no credible interested parties - and there is not enough money for a supporter run club with NLV/Simms etc..so where does that leave us?

 

would the phrase "frying pan and fire" be apt?

There has been plenty of interest in buying into PVFC but the scum bags in charge wont control thats why all this investment has fell through.

I think you would find a plethora of folk lining up to take control. I assume an 'interim board' would be appointed, the like possibly of Sims, NLV, ex-directors ('willing' to oversee the successful handing over to a new investor/investment team).

 

Don;t be fooled by Bill's propaganda, the club is a very viable prospect and would be viewed in good light by more than just a few interested parties.

An interim board would be elected and they would then look for investors to help take the club forward. Remember Vile 2001 have been turning interested parties away for years. There are people out there who will take us forward Mo & Mark being two of them. Both of these two people have proven records of running a successful business and that is exactly what Port Vale is and not a rundown working mens club which is the way the present board have run it.

We could quote Mr. Newton, he appeared 'very' creditable when the board initially invited him for talks, funny how he was quickly sent packing once his demands had been heard.

 

Bill has repeatedly brought out the old 'nutmeg' of investors being involved in discussions whenever the need arose.

 

Like I said, don't be fooled, if the club were to actually advertise itself for sale in the national press I think you may be quite surprised at the level of interest that was shown.

Sims could do a job. lets be honest, we are not going to find a Roman Abromovich. We are in tough times. I want transparency, progress, and communication with the supporters. An improvement in marketing, and an open door football club.

A lot of the other clubs in league 2 have no money either..but dont have our fanbase. so we can succeed without big money.

Lets just say - i know a few people in this city, that know a different side to the waterchute man held up as the saviour of Port Vale FC. i trust what they say, and they tell me it would be a disaster to have him in charge.

 

I am all for change, and i support SEO - but i dont want to go from Robert Maxwell to Michael Knighton.

The danger is that the longer the three amigos are in charge, the fewer people who will have the necessary finance to take on the task of rescuing our club!
