i know OVF brought a rare medal a couple of years ago and donated it to the club not sure if it could be done again but really you would like to think the club could snap this up before it is lost

 

i would happily donate a tenner to OVF if rob wished to purchase and donate it to the club might even give us webmongs a bit of good publicity for a change

I have a programme from the Vale v Spurs FA Cup game autographed by Steve Hodge, Terry Venables, Gary Mabbutt, Ossie Ardiles, Paul Allen, Chris Waddle plus a few I can't work out. Some of the names are smudged but is this worth much?

I buy quite a lot of football programmes, I would personally not pay more than £5 for that item, however it could be worth a bit more if someone took a fancy to it on ebay (for example). The smudges would however, devalue it.

There was a big auction of this guy's stuff a few weeks ago I think, war letters/photo's etc. I'd guess the family auctioned all his stuff off, and whoever this guy is picked them up there. Pity I didn't know about the original auction. We've raised 30 quid so far, any advances?
