I hope the first game of the season is away due to it being traditionally one of the highest gates of the season for the teams that kick off at home

 

Then I hope the first home game of the season is one of those unattractive games with a team that hardly brings any support.

I touched on it yesterday in the fixtures thread, there is usually massive interest with everyone having an input on who they want first and when Torquay away will be etc but yes, I agree, them have knocked the stuffing out of us fans and I hate them with a passion to what they have done to our club and they will never be forgiven for it!:(

Wrong, me for one, my mates, and my family are all looking forward to the fixtures coming out today..

Already had a good week with the Carling Cup draw dropping nicely for us..

Who will we get at home first, last, Xmas, Boxing Day, our friends at Crewe and Macc, The Dons, The ever friendly Shrews, Torquay weekend, Plymouth weekend and Paulo Di Canio at the Vale !!!

not interested tbh , the season will start when the remaining board members are gone not before. the football is secondry at the minute , the board have made sure of that.

Stoke fans seem to be certain that they are at home on their first day (to Liverpool), and as that would mean Vale would have to be away that day (2nd game), then Vale would be at home for their first game the week before.

 

I can't wait...........to do some gardening that day!!!
