I bet hes happy this morning. Looked for all the world that he was gonna be out of a job, now hes probably gonna get a three year contract to stay with Micky.

 

Hes done very well seeing as he should have gone (with Gannon) after busgate.

Agreed, don't think he will get 3 years though as Micky was a little frustrated with him a couple of times this season.

I think Owen is coaching the reserves, not managing them? I would be for The Horse staying because him and Micky seem to have a pretty solid relationship....and it worked! What about getting Robbie Savage in as coach?

Grew still has 12 months of his contract remaining, I doubt he's going anywhere.

I'm wondering why there would be this big thing about Micky announcing his backroom team next week if there aren't going to be changes. If the backroom team would be Owen, Grew and Horse surely it would just be said now. Obviously someone is being waited on and there is likely to be a change. Grew is under contract, Geoff is out of contract and i can see him going.

I think the Horse is being lined up for the knackers yard as well and I would expect a new assistant to come in. Would love it to be Steve Davis, ready made replacement for when Mickey does one but he'd be closer to the hot seat at Crewe, Dario will expire during one of those breathless interviews with McGrumpy

Grew is employed by the youth team and not the first team. Grew needs to do what he is paid to do and support the youth set up.

 

In my Opinion we need a new coach. Horse seems no more that a water carrier to me.

RS as a player coach? That's the things that only dreams are made of!!! :D

 

Robbie Savage has retired as a player, so presume he has taken his pension/insurance payout. He is also about to start work for the BBC as a pundit/reporter, so i think that is a none starter.
