Message for Micky...

I can guarantee you were not the most dissaponted person when our season fell apart. Also, stay out of the politics!

An apology will not go a miss either!

Dear Micky,

On the small chance you read this I want to say that the news you are coming back, if true, has made my day. For the first time in 10+ years you made my proud to be a Vale fan. I admired your honest approach an the work enthuc you installed in a group of, being fair, mainly average players

Unlike some people I genuinely believed you when you said that there was only 1 club you would leave us for. Call me neive but I believe you are a man of your word. In your shoes I would have done the same.

That said, you have to understand how much you hurt us. You left when we needed you the most and our season fell apart. We don't get much success at Vale Park and to have it ripped away when I felt we were so close to acheiving something hurt more than you can imagine. When I watched you doing your first interview with Sheff Utd it felt like I was watching a video of my girlfriend ****ing another man! It was that bad. You ruined my Christmas.

As you will never be offered the Sheff Utd job again I hope you are true to your word and commit your long term future to Port Vale FC and it's fans. We will support you and I'm convinced the players will run through brick Walls for you.

However, if you do screw is over again there is a lot of people who I am sure would love you make your life very uncomfortable! You would not be forgiven again.

I hope I can say Welcome home Micky. Now let's finish the job you started.

Up the Vale!

Brilliant post, and I feel 2 stone lighter already with Micky back. I didn't think he would come back , but he's a top man in my book , because he kept his word. It can't be easy coming back down to League 2 from ,what should have been , a side challenging for promotion to the Premier League, so now the Summer has taken on the brightness that last Summer did. It's a funny old game football . I have never felt as bad as when Gannon was in charge, and the slide that came with him. I have been on edge( angry, anxious, frustrated etc) for months, and I apologise to all ovf posters for my behaviour at times, regarding affairs on and off the pitch. I love Port Vale with all my heart, and I hope that June brings closure to all the problems within the club, and that we can start fresh in August, with renewed hope of promotion and beyond. Welcome back Micky Adams!! PORT VALE !!!
