Best oatcake shop

OK..it was as promised/threatened High Lane

 

Bought 36 and a dozen pikelets on Friday

 

Saturday morning had bacon cheese and oatcakes at some caf in Hanley..not impressed...4/10

 

Sunday on getting back to Devon had the same but using High Lane oatcakes...9/10

 

Well worth the trip

Tunstall market very good, As anyone tried ASDA oatcakes ? Worst iv'e ever tasted.

I made a sizzling skillet full of back bacon, strong cheddar and chopped tomatoes with 3 Povey's oatcakes on the side for rolling and dipping, all with brown sauce. B..E..A..utiful

I have never been to the high lane shop and normally go to one in tunstall. My mrs is getting her wedding dress from a shop in burslem so were driving down early tomorrow morning whilst she sorts it out so was gonna call at the high lane shop and get a load to take back to Warrington. Where abouts is the shop is it a left or right when I get to the junction after driving past vale

Turn left at the top of Hamil Rd and it's about 1/2 a mile on the left next to the Co-op late shop.
