Vale's new ticket offer.

If the club sells 250 of these I will be amazed, the lack of thought gone into it is poor, there is every chance the 4th January will be FA cup involvement for vale, there will be at least 3 of these games played midweek from February onwards which is when the champions league resumes. Good for vale as they will have the money regardless. Good for the working class fan ?

Lack of thought????

CHristmas can be a very expensive time, more so if there are young children involved.Add to that there are 4 (four) Home games in December. So I'd say it was a good offer.

I personally think it would have been better for 6 matches of your choice. Point taken about potential play offs later on. 6 matches between December and early march. The lack of thought due to 1 game likely to be fa cup, and others may come a kipper to bad weather and likely to be re arranged to midweek where people may struggle to attend. So yes melv lack of thought. Let's see just how many are sold. Now if the club said if the match is off you can attend a match of your choice before March then it would be excellent

I would have brought my nephew 1 for Christmas but his dad works noons so if any game was re arranged for midweek he would lose out.

So in that case tell your nephew that you are going to take him to THESE games.iDont buy the

tickets before hand which are included in this offer.Just pay as you get you ticket on the day,or go through the turnstile. That way IF any games are called off then you won't lose out.

Melv I would gladly take him to every match unfortunately where I sit there are no spare tickets

So now the ground is going to be that full that you can't move seats.Or do some sort of ticket/seat change in the ticket office.

No Melv the ground won't ever be full but like I have told you he can't sit where I sit as there is no room and I am pretty sure the offer would not apply there. Back to the subject melv if he missed 2 games which 1 is looking very likely would there be any real value in it?

If he can't sit where you sit. Then go in the ticket office and change YOUR seat to a part in the ground where you can sit with him.

If it's that good an offer and it's only me who has seen this as poor planning, like the fact the Salisbury game is on a Friday night and all the restaurants etc have Christmas party's on so you can't get a drink etc, vale will sell plenty of these tickets

If he want to take him that much then move seats.Or see if anyone who goes in the same box will not be going due to other (Christmas) commitments.

Melv you have missed my point completely if I wanted to take him I would. I was going to buy 1 of the winter warmers but if more than 2 games are re arranged to midweek then he could not go for 2 reasons his dad works noons and I am not sure his mother would want him out late freezing on a cold school night.
