The Ground would have been renamed had Mo Chaudry taken over. The deal, with an Indian Bank, was about £200,000 a year for 5 years.

 

From memory.

 

It's easy to make claims when you don't have to make them happen.

 

It's not a claim. It's what Mo already had in place. The only reason I mentioned it was to provide an illustration of what could be gained. Whether fans think that it is acceptable to rename the ground for £200k a year, or thereabouts, is the issue.

There is a Brazilian mining company called Vale...so could remain as vale Park if they sponsored it. or Vale Vale Park

 

Or if park hampers took it on it could be Park Vale Park or Park Park

 

Or if I formed a company call Vale Park and Ride it could be Vale Park and Ride Park

There is a brewery based in Aylesbury call Vale

 

So if they sponsor the stadium it can still be called Vale Park and we'll get cheap real ale...job done

Ive heard about a big sponsorship deal with a local building society, maybe next year VP will changed to the Britannia stadium! (only kidding before I get a barrage of abuse!)
