On this date we won 1-0 at the Brit with a goal from Mickey Cummins. How things have changed over the course of the last 9 years. Only today Stoke have beaten Arsenal and then in 6 days time will run out at Wembley in the FA Cup final with the added bonus of being in Europe next season.

In comparison we have finished our season having lost 3 of our last 4 games to the giants of football that are Stockport, Stevenage and Barnet.

Luckily for Stoke they had a successful local businessman who was prepared to invest in their club. If only we could find a successful local businessman who wanted to invest in us !!!!

Until then we will just have to get used to watching mediocrity.

Haven't you heard that we've made great strides on and off the pitch.

Bill Bratt says so. Salt of the earth Bill. Mortgaged his house you know....

dont forget that he has also got a queue of people/consortiums who want to invest in the club.

Depressing thought!! The longer bill and his ******** hold on the longer it is until we see anything like them days again, and is why in my opinion the *****s should be banned from Vale Park. They have prevented us from seeing success so we should do exactly the same to them.

Take a look at the League Two table for that season. Hull City in 11th and Swansea City in 20th. Keep the faith a decade is a very long time in football and anything can happen!

It maybe a long time but it depends if virus 2001 sell to mo if they stay on it brakes my heart to say it but were going have to sell out 'Decent' players and we will possibly be in a relegation battle and it may take years get back up when we got relegated from league one we all said we will be straight back up but look at us now :(
