Marks full interview with the sentinel is on Mo's site now. How anyone cannot be behind this bid is beyond me. A key quote for me is this:

Q. What is your long-term vision for Port Vale under the Chaudry-led regime.

My aims and objectives are totally in line with Mo’s. To be part of a vibrant club on and off the pitch and to have a thriving profitable business. A successful team achieving League 1 status in the early stages and aspiring to Championship football over the medium term. More than anything we want fans to enjoy the football again and feel part of the club and its wider community, after all it’s what the fans deserve.

just been to get me lottery and had a quick look at sentinel (didnt buy one), on the back page deakin is claiming they have sold 2008 season tickets (surely a misprint, extra 0 added), 100 of which are under 9's free ones!!

only managed to read the first bit of it but he also claims sales are 400 odd up from the same time last year.

How can the board and Sentinel get away with printing such nonsense? Do they honestly believe people will actually believe this? There's no way sales would go up even without a Starve Em Out campaign!

If they can sell 2008 in a month while being inundated with letters saying people couldnt afford one until next month the club is safe.

So people can protest, by not buying a season ticket, without fear of damaging the club. Great news.... more people can join SeO

Its amazing that they can sell far more season tickets now when their is on & off the field turmoil, their is no manager then last season when we had the ebst thing to happen in years, Micky Adams, creating a buzz.

iv just read the full story in the paper, well, what an interview, very diplomatic in answering the questions - credit to him.

 

I would invite all the pro-board supporters to comment on this piece, how can any intelligent being that is open minded, defend V2001's recent actions, and there overall handling of our clubs affairs?
