We need some players who want to be at Vale and can form a team. The massive changes to the squad post Flitcroft have brought us to this point, disinterested players performing badly for disenfranchised fans. Wasted a lot of money and time paying off decent players to bring in players of similar or lesser ability. All to prove that someone knows more about football than everyone else in the football league. Hopefully Darren can turn it around.

I do have a clue but you don't have to believe me. The money has already been spent so it is too late to change that. I worked in facilities management for enough years to see that some of the work was badly planned and executed.

I don't know without seeing the inspection report. Address any non conformances in that in the first instance. I don't think the expensive new turnstiles were a legal requirement for example.

We did need the ground doing up. When players rock up and see the ground it might make or break the decision to sign. I don't question the need to maintain the ground, just not sure the works were carried out in a sensible manner.

I don't think the players suggested spending lots of money on fences, turnstiles, a new pa system, a scoreboard and the pitch.

I don't want the fans to have more say in running the club but after watching disappointing football for the last two seasons the club has to anticipate a reluctance to commit to a season ticket.

How do you measure the 'levels'? Darren Moore managed in the premiership, Clarke has struggled above league 2.

Nothing irrational about my opinion of Clarke's ability as manager. He will never achieve the levels Darren Moore has.
