  1. We are part of the 92, we are part of the 72, lol
  2. Carol might be good at arithmetic but she thinks that the current Director of Failure is doing a good job so I am not sure she is the best judge of a good manager. She will probably take his advice which some would say wasn't the best and most objective. He pobably wants a patsy rather than a strong manager who may disagree with the process.
  3. Why is it, you think it would be funny for us not to appoint an experienced manager?
  4. Because he is an out of work football manager and we have a vacancy...
  5. What if it was Adam Murray? I would be OK with him I guess, prefer Moore though
  6. As long as it is Darren Moore they can announce it any time this week. Otherwise I don't want to know 😕
  7. What do you mean "at the moment" we haven't been prolific for quite a while apart from the odd blip. Goal difference says it all.
  8. I thought it was "we usually get a cup of tea and a biscuit" He never played for England again...
  9. Only if you wanted to see it.
  10. Maybe he will throw Flitcroft off the bus...
  11. I hope it is true, I think Darren Moore is a decent manager. Maybe he was there yesterday but not in the picture. Might explain the extra enthusiasm from the players.
  12. I still don't think that Clarke was either decent or the right choice. He was backed to the hilt and decimated our squad by bringing in his yes men players. We are struggling now because the soul has been ripped out of the squad. None of the players other than Smith and the kids have any affinity to Port vale and it shows. Everyone reveres John Rudge, his skill was gradually evolving the squad by replacing the worst players with better players over time so that there was continuity. Everything bad that happens to a club managed by Clarke is someone elses fault and everything good is down to him, in his mind anyway. Look at Walsall after he spent all their money wrecking their squad and then bailed out. I have nothing personal against Darrell, he is just a dreamer like Flitcroft.
  13. Is Steve Evans one of the roundabouts? 😁
  14. Didn't notice anything in the Lorne Street, not sure about outside the main entrance. I think the 5000 crowd said it all really.
  15. Nothing to do with the fact that Flitcroft is involved in the construction industry of course...
  16. We need players who can play now rather than at some unspecified point in the future if we don't sell them first. A number of development players in the squad is fine if you have a core of senior professional players to support them.
  17. On the plus side Connor Ripley looks like he is trying...
  18. I can't see anything other than a Stevenage win to be honest. We have a depleted squad of players who don't really seem that bothered any more. Having the academy guy in charge is not really going to inspire them. Wilson looks totally disinterested, Chislett tries but spends too much time falling over trying to get free kicks and Loft is devoid of any confidence. Ojo is still getting back up to speed as is Dan Jones. New defender looks like he might be OK but he has only just arrived and has played alongside several different centre halves already in his one game. Weir still looks like a first year in his first week at big school.
  19. I am just thinking that it would be a potential flash point with the fans if we were to perform badly under him as a manager. Football fans have long memories, or at least some do. Look at all the furore when we are linked with ex St*ke players for example...
  20. Twenty Years Ago: Paul Robinson - Watford FC WWW.WATFORDFC.COM The internet hasn't forgotten...
  21. I would have thought it was part of any due diligence to look if there was any history with the club. Wouldn't want to reappoint Jim Gannon for example.
